Second Helpings will distribute pantry staples and fresh produce to our quarterly Beaufort agencies on June 29, 2026. This distribution will help our partner agencies keep their pantries stocked with essential items and continue serving individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our community.
Volunteers will assist with unloading, sorting, and organizing food for distribution.
This role involves light to moderate physical activity. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and moving grocery-size items. Volunteers should wear a Second Helpings shirt and weather-appropriate clothing. Gloves are recommended.
You will meet in the parking lot of Port Royal United Methodist Church, where a Second Helpings Area Coordinator will be on hand to assist and answer any questions.
