We will be distributing farm fresh produce, locally grown and supplied by Dempsey and Tuten Farms, to our Beaufort agencies for May, June, and July 2026, at Port Royal UMC (1602 Columbia Ave, Port Royal, SC 29935).
A Second Helpings truck will go to Dempsey Farms and pick up the produce, leaving the Beaufort truck base at around 8:30 am. The truck will then deliver the produce to Port Royal UMC, where our volunteers will then sort and load produce for each agency.
The ability to lift up to 50lbs in weight and be a qualified Second Helpings Truck Driver is required for this volunteer opportunity.
