Second Helpings receives fresh vegetables and fruit to distribute to our neighbors in need each month!
Two times a month, we receive fresh produce that needs to be distributed to our food pantry partners. The truck helper will meet the driver at the First Presbyterian truck parking lot at the assigned time for their shift (it varies by date!), go to St. Andrew By-The-Sea, assist with loading the leftover produce into the truck and deliver to Hilton Head, Bluffton and Jasper agencies.
The ability to lift up to 50lbs in weight is advised for this volunteer opportunity.
