Come and celebrate the green by marching in the parade under the Second Helpings banner. It's a great way to raise awareness about local hunger and what Second Helpings does to fight it.
Please wear a food-themed or St. Patrick's Day-themed costume and join us. If you already know what costume you're going to wear, please let all of us know by emailing execadmin@secondhelpingslc.org.
It's best to park at or near USC Beaufort (1 Sand Shark Drive), as that is where the parade will end.
The Second Helpings truck needs to be in place by noon and decorated by 12:30 pm. Marchers need to be in costume and together with the Second Helpings truck at Celebration Park by 1 pm. The parade gets moving at 2 pm. We'll provide candy and/or other items that the marchers can hand (not throw) to spectators.
