Who We Are
Second Helpings is a nonprofit food rescue organization dedicated to eliminating hunger across the South Carolina Lowcountry. Since 1992, we’ve partnered with grocery stores, retailers, farmers, and community donors to rescue fresh, healthy food that would otherwise go to waste.
What We Do
Be a Second Helpings Ambassador! This includes opportunities to help at community events, volunteer recruitment events and fun activities like parades and festivals! Be sure to check out the Port Royal Farmer's Market to help out weekly at our table.
