Additional Rescue Routes

Second Helpings is a nonprofit food rescue organization dedicated to eliminating hunger across the South Carolina Lowcountry. Since 1992, we’ve partnered with grocery stores, retailers, farmers, and community donors to rescue fresh, healthy food that would otherwise go to waste.

We’re always looking for new ways to rescue food and reduce waste! Beyond our daily truck routes, opportunities pop up regularly — including our Tourist Food Rescue program. Check back often to find new ways to help feed our community.
