econd Helpings is partnering with Beaufort County School District to help provide food to children and families throughout the summer months when school is out of session. As part of the Groceries to Go program, we are assembling snack bags that will be distributed to local children who may otherwise lose access to school-based meals.
We are looking for volunteers to assist with packing snack bags each week at the Second Helpings office. This is a simple but meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact on local families. Volunteers will help sort, organize, and pack snacks into individual bags that will be distributed through the program.
